Notes for LisaGuide:

LisaGuide is the self training environment for the Lisa.
It's read only, and makes a great demo!

Running LisaGuide:

From Floppy:
After the system has started loading from the hard disk, pop the diskette in.
As the system boots up it will check for the floppy, if it finds it LisaGuide is launched.

Press Apple + Power to exit, or Power to turn the system off.

Form Hard disk:

[Using the File Manager in the Workshop]
Copy all the files on the Guide diskette to the ProFile with the following exception:

*IMPORTANT* Do not copy these files or your ProFile ends up looking like a diskette:
  {!CATALOG}
  {!CATALOG}$R
  {!SAVEDESKTOP}
  BOOT{!TFCATALOG}

Change the name of LISAGUIDE.SHELL to SHELL.LISAGUIDE.
The next time the system is booted the enviroments will contain a shell listed as LISAGUIDE."

Copying the files in the Workshop file manager is fairly straightforward.
If you're doing a partial wildcard match, remember to put the partial bit in the destination name.

For example, to copy all the hidden files,
Source: -#13-{T7}=
Dest: -#11-{T7}=

Using -#11-= as the dest strips the {T7} off the front of the filenames.

To get to the Environments window hit the space bar a couple times after the screen contrast changes to where it's set in Preferences as the system is booting up.
You can also hold the Apple key while pressing the power button when inside the Office System or LisaGuide.
